A new customer can be created, an existing customer's details viewed, or further details recorded in offline mode where no telephone call is involved.
Note: The ability to create a new customer will depend upon the campaign design and possible security restrictions.
An existing customer may be opened in the following circumstances:
clicking a link on the results returned from a search (see Find Customer, Global Search, QuickSearch and Advanced Search).
Opening a selected customer from a workspace. Click here for details.
Opening a linked customer from My Calendar or My Alarms workspaces. Click here for details.
The ability to close a customer record without recording an event may be security restricted, in which case a wrap must be selected and saved in order to close the record.
Note: a 'Not Wrapped' event will be automatically recorded when a customer is closed using the Close function.
