The level of Data Validation and the Field Transformation Mappings are defined on the second page of the Import File Processor.
If an error is encountered during the processing of the file, a message will be displayed. Note that the record causing the problem will be copied to the clipboard allowing it to be pasted into a text editor (e.g. Notepad) for checking. This is normally caused by a record within the file having either more, or less, columns than the column headings or first record.
Select a validation level
Indicate if the import is to be automatically submitted to workflow
Optionally, schedule the import to run later
Indicate if Batch Header information is to be created automatically, or user defined.
Use the Import Preview to check that the data is as expected (e.g. the correct field separator and column name options have been set on the previous page).
If necessary, use the <<Back button to amend settings
Indicate if the Extended Import Field Set is required
Transform the data
Check the transformed data
Once you have defined your column mappings, and are satisfied with the test results, click the Next >> button to display the final page of the Import File Processor.
