The Import File Processor is designed to allow customer data, or customer/contact data, provided by the client, to be loaded into a campaign in a simple and controlled manner, ensuring that the integrity of the CallMap database is maintained.
The supplied file can be in any recognised format, including a password-protected zip file.
The details of the file to be imported are specified on the first page of the Import File Processor.
To process a file:
Select the file to be processed
A Preview of the currently selected file will be displayed for verification
Indicate if any fields are contained within quotes
Either open an existing Transformation Package, or
Select the Target Campaign
Select the Field Separator
Indicate if the first row contains column names
One al the relevant options have been set, click the Next >> button to set up the Validation and Transformation details.
