The Calendar Pane
![]() The Calendar Pane allows you to select a range of dates to display in the Scheduler Pane. The Calendar Pane will automatically show as many months that fit into the dimensions of the pane - to view more months, use the pane resize controls to drag the borders of the calendar pane to make it bigger.
To select a range of dates, click on the first date you require with the mouse and, while holding the left-hand mouse button down, drag to the end date you require. The Schedule, and Resource Allocation information will be automatically updated to reflect your new selection. Note that the Schedule Calendar can only display up to 6 weeks at a time. To move back and forward through the months of the year, click on the appropriate back and forward buttons on the Calendar Month header, or click on the Month/Year combination - a small dialogue box will open up, allowing you to quickly scroll through the months and years.
Selecting a range of dates on the Calendar Pane will also have an effect on the current 'View' of your Calendar. For example, if you select Monday - Sunday (7 days), your Schedule Calendar view will automatically flip into 'Week View' mode - likewise, if you select 8 days or over, your Schedule Calendar View will automatically flip into 'Month View'.
Your default Schedule Calendar View mode can be set from the Program Calendar Settings options - the current view can be quickly changed in two ways:
Click on the 'View' button, and your current date range and associated Schedule view will return to your default selections, or
Drop-down the 'View' button, and select a different View.

Note also that you can use the Back and Forward buttons (just to the right of the 'View' button) to move back and forward through your Schedule Calendar. The period you move back or forward is defined by your current view, for example, in Working Week Mode, you'd move forward one week; whilst if you were viewing your Calendar Schedule in 'Day View' mode, you'd move forward one day.
