The Resources Pane
Depending on your current View Mode, the Resources Pane will either display 'Campaigns & Resources', or 'Teams & Resources':
![]()
Individual Campaigns and Teams may be selected by clicking on the relevant entry in the list. By clicking on the first entry ('All Campaign ...' or 'All Team ...'), the Scheduler will display all schedule allocations for the date range chosen - clicking on a Campaign or Team will filter the information displayed to that Campaign or Team. Note that if you've started the Scheduler from the CallMap System Manager program, an appropriate Campaign, Team or User may be pre-selected. Also, if you've selected a 'Default Start-Up Campaign from the Program Display Options, this item will be pre-selected when you start the program.
Note that the 'Non Availability' entry in the picture above may be set to another name, depending on how you've set your Scheduler Options.
By Double-clicking or expanding an entry, related items will be displayed. In 'Campaign Mode', all Advisors who have access to the relevant Campaign will be displayed. In 'Team Mode', all Advisors who are members of the selected Team will be displayed. You can flip between 'Campaign Mode' and 'Team Mode' by clicking on the 'View' button on the toolbar:
![]()
By selecting an individual Advisor in 'Campaign Mode', the Scheduler will display any time allocations for the Advisor Chosen, for that Campaign (note that an Advisor may be available to one or more Campaigns, depending on your Campaign and Security Group settings). Depending on your Program Settings, the Scheduler display will be filtered to show allocations relevant to the selected Advisor, or all Advisors with scheduled work on the Campaign. This 'filter' setting can be set via the Advanced Program Options, or by selecting the 'Advisor Data Filtering' option on the context menu (you access a Context Menu by clicking with the right-hand mouse button):
![]()
Note that the Resources Pane context menu also provides quick relevant links to other program functions.
Under normal Scheduler usage scenarios, it's recommended that the Advisor Data Filtering is set to 'Off', in order to show fuller Campaign schedule allocation information - in these circumstances, selecting an Advisor allows you to set the 'focus' for a 'New Schedule Item' (i.e. Campaign -> Advisor -> Time Allocation), or to use Drag-And-Drop scheduling options onto the Schedule Pane.
Note that, if you're using 'Team Mode', selecting an individual Advisor will show you all scheduled activity for that Advisor (however, as you won't have a target Campaign selected, you won't be able to use Drag-And-Drop scheduling, as you can when you're using 'Campaign Mode').
In 'Campaign Mode', you can use 'Drag-And-Drop' scheduling to quickly allocate your Advisor's time to your Campaigns. To use 'Drag-And-Drop' scheduling, select the relevant Campaign, and expand the list of Advisors who are allocated to work on that Campaign. Click on the Advisor you want to allocate, and, while holding down the left-hand mouse button, drag them to the day you want them to work on that Campaign on the Scheduler Pane. As you drag them over the Scheduler Pane, the display will look something like this (note that your mouse icon will change to reflect the fact that you're 'dragging' your Advisor to a target day):
![]()
When you 'drop' the Advisor on the selected day, their time will be allocated to that day for the selected Campaign (if there's no conflict, or other reason that the time allocation can't be made).
