CallMap workflow manager
The CallMap Workflow Manager provides an easy-to-use interface to CallMap's in-built workflow engine - allowing you to automate and schedule your data imports, exports, updates and reporting.
Automation increases productivity, saves money, and reduces the chance of errors.
Schedule backups, maintenance and optimisation tasks to happen automatically overnight - CallMap Workflow jobs support step dependencies, so you can even automate recovery should anything go wrong.

Workflow Manager features
- CallMap workflow jobs allow you to automate business processes that traditionally involve several interrelated steps, and often many highly trained personnel - automation not only saves costs and time, but vastly reduces the chances of error.
- Manage and maintain simple and complex job schedules from a single, easy-to-use interface. Start jobs, re-schedule jobs, temporarily hold jobs or release held jobs – see what’s currently running, who it was invoked by, and optionally view percentage completion.
- View full or filtered job execution details and history, providing quick notification of the success or failure of any job – including how long it took to process, and the reason for any warning or failure, such as a data import file not being supplied. Optionally link the job to the workflow processing log, where highly detailed information on each step of every job run is held.
- You can start and stop the CallMap workflow services from a remote workstation, if required.
- Set up automated mail notification for your operators – CallMap can send out e-mail with information on the success or failure of each job processed.
- CallMap Workflow Management Console also provides a single-point interface for the creation and maintenance of new and existing jobs. You can easily create processes which automate your business – auto-import and verify data files, and e-mail exception reports to the relevant people; collate statistics, run a report, compress and encrypt the file, and e-mail it to your clients with a specialised mail message. Any job can contain up to 999 linked steps, each of which can be a Microsoft SQL ServerŪ Data Transformation package, any executable program, one or more SQL statements, batch commands or scripts - the Workflow Console is supplied with a syntax checking, auto-complete capable editor for creating SQL statements, DOS batches, or scripts using CScript or VBScript. You can set parameters for each step as required (or use predefined system variables such as auto batch-numbering, and date stamping) - each step also supports detailed file import, export, e-mail and process flow options.
- Each step within a job can react to a Success, Warning or Failure in a previous step, allowing you to design jobs which are capable of automatic recovery, should a dependent step fail.
- CallMap comes supplied with example jobs and scripts in-built, such as automated data imports, mail merges, batch e-mailers, and system maintenance and optimisation, to get you up and running quickly.
- The CallMap Import File Processor provides a comprehensive and easy-to-use toolkit for getting your client’s data into the system quickly and accurately, with full audit and data exception handling.
- All data import and export operations are supported by full audit trail and exception reporting.
